I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Google in Feb 2021
Interview
Process:
1) Recruiter reached out, and I had a phone screening and provided some background information
2) I met with hiring managers. 45 minutes each over Hangouts
3) Moved on to the next stage, which was an interview with a googler in an adjacent role
4) Team matching, and moving on to the hiring committee
5) Waiting for hiring committee decision
6) Hiring committee decision is made, and the offer process started
The whole process from application to start date took 3 months.
My recruiter was fantastic throughout. Ensured I was well prepared, and I had an opportunity to speak to a googler in a similar role to help with prep. Expect typical behavior questions where you highlight your experience in a way that complements the role.
This was not my first time interviewing at Google, but each time the process has been very seamless and HR has been quite pleasant.

Interview
Organised , 2-3 rounds , more about media experience and more follow-up questions … last few minutes for questions to hiring manager … confident answer in STAR method is best way to proceed
They have a very well-structured hiring process and scheduling interviews was incredibly easy and convenient. The recruiter was super friendly throughout our entire interaction, and they thoughtfully provided post-interview feedback to me, which I greatly appreciated receiving.
