I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Sydney) in Sep 2014
Interview
Phone interview and in-person interview (which went for close to an hour)
The phone screen was very basic - just sussing out your motivation for Google, asking you what your favourite Google product was and why.
The in-person interview was incredibly detailed. It required you to have knowledge of the whole suite of Google products and an incredibly detailed understanding of Google's advertising products like the Google Display Network and Adwords.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview

They have a very well-structured hiring process and scheduling interviews was incredibly easy and convenient. The recruiter was super friendly throughout our entire interaction, and they thoughtfully provided post-interview feedback to me, which I greatly appreciated receiving.
