I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Hiring screen. First round was product sense interview (45 mins) and then an analytical interview (45 mins). Pretty minimal guidance / coaching through the interview. Appreciated the detailed interview feedback afterwards.
Not too bad of a process; very framework and structure heavy, it felt like they were just trying to hit as many boxes as possible. hiring manager round was pretty easy, did not make it past the OA which was exceedingly long: Coding assessment
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2025
Interview
Recruiter reached out for a position last year. After 20 minutes of behavioral questions, she decided she's going to schedule the next round. Due to a lack of response about the nature/scope of the interview, the next round was scheduled several times. The interviewer turned out to be someone different from the hiring manager, and we talked about strategy and product design. The position got filled right after, even though the recruiter told me I passed with very positive feedback.
