I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Sjanghai, Sjanghai) in Jan 2024
Interview
two rounds of interview in total, each 45 minutes long, asked you to implement a Python third party library's function and did another coding task, not too difficult and the interviewer is very friendly and ready to help when you got stuck
They asked some problem of approximately the same level as hard on litcode, and it was relatively easy. Friendly interviewers. I accepted a different offer at a different firm though.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Google
Interview
I didn't get too far into the interview process, but I can say I liked how organized everything was. I did meet with someone before hand to talk about Google and what they are about as well as what the role would consist of. Afterwards, I conducted a technical interview days later.

Question 1
I can't quite recall the coding questions I was asked, but I do know that data structures and algorithms are something that one needs to be aware of. I had not taken a course at my uni yet concerning the aspect at hand, but I had just basic knowledge about a few which was not enough I feel.
