Hilti Group interview questions

Ich hab mich online als Verkaufsberater im Außendienst beworben. Daraufhin kam nach 1 1/2 Wochen eine Email für eine Einladung zu einem Telefoninterview in drei Tagen. Das Gespräch verlief wie ein klassisches Vorstellungsgespräch. Daten aus dem Lebenslauf wurden abgefragt danach kamen Fragen, warum ich mich bei Hilti beworben habe und warum ich in den Vertrieb möchte. Im großen und Ganzen ein sehr freundliches Gespräch. Das ganze dauerte 20 Minuten und ich wurde noch am Telefon zu einem persönlichen Vorstellungsgespräch in 4 Wochen in einem Hilti Center eingeladen.

My application to Hilti was speculative, in the sense that i took my papers and personally handed them to a representative in the Hilti Center. Two weeks later I got a call from the HR to schedule a phone interview with me for a Sales job. Whilst preparing; I learnt that the interview process at Hilti is usually broken down into 5 steps, I only had three in total; a phone interview, two 1on1s with the HR and the Area Sales Manager in the country, and finally a field ride with one of the account managers at the company (wasn't part of the interview process). 1/ Phone Interview: Lasted for almost 1.5 hours. Since I was a fresh graduate at the time; most of the questions were targeting my university life and my involvement in extra-curricular activities. I'd say it was a normal converstation with an amazing HR rather than an official interview, It's logical to lose sense of time while you're having a normal discussion with your interviewer about Game of Thrones! of course questions about the company, its values, mission and vision were raised at some point so you should obviously prepare for those. 2/ 1on1 Interviews: Had two 1on1 on the same day with an HR assistant and the ASM. Both lasted for half an hour; where again it followed a conversation setting. The HR made it clear how the company values dedication and commitment while the manager emphasized on the attitude required when dealing with customers. Note that they will base their questions on the feedback they received from your phone interview so make sure you DO NOT LIE during the phone stage or else you might make up new statements that contradict what you said on the phone. 3/ Field Ride: was supposed to be a full day but I was excused as I had an appointment at the hospital. If that was part of the interview process I might have ended up losing the offer as Field Rides are extremely important for Sales, so be sure to schedule this stage accordingly with your HR rep. Conclusion: The interview process was a piece of cake for me as all I had to do (besides doing homework about the company) was simply be myself.
