I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IBM (Baton Rouge, LA) in Dec 2021
Interview
Applied online for several open positions. Rejected for 4/5 applications but received a phone screen 1 week later for the last position. Was open and honest with the recruiter about expectations and goals. I withdrew for the last job but was told my goals and background fit for one of the positions I had already applied for. I received another phone screen a week later for one of the positions I was initially rejected for. Recruiter scheduled a video interview with a manager in two weeks, and I interviewed with another manager two weeks after that. The recruiter provided an update every 2 weeks stating that a decision had not been made and they would continue to update me until I was either rejected or offered. The entire process took 3 months from application to offer. The recruiters were extremely responsive and helpful, the entire process is something every employer should emulate.
