I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at IBM (Bengaluru) in Nov 2024
Interview
Only 20 mins interview on resume projects and domain interests, interested in AI, full stack and C programming skills, had a group discussion round before it as 1st round. Overall easy.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at IBM (Canada Lake, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
I did the oa, which was making an http request and parsing json. there was another one where you had to make a sort the list and then merge elements in the array to find the total cost.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Petaling Jaya) in May 2025
Interview
- Online interview initially set on a Sunday. Entered the online meet but no one showed up for an hour. Turns out there was a "technical error" but didn't inform me until I contacted them via email.
- Rescheduled interview set the next Friday in the morning. 30 minutes before the interview hiring manager called me up to reschedule the interview at evening due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Pretty casual meeting. Asks generic interview questions (introduction about yourself etc.) then a bit of behavioral questions. Then the rest of the interview is the hiring manager explaining in full detail about the role itself. Overall liked the interview.
- However the results of the interview were not communicated to me until one month later, even that after I've followed up three times with the hiring manager and HR rep.
- Overall the interview itself was okay, but the process before and after the interview is very dissatisfactory.

Question 1
If we're close to a deadline and needing for extra OT work to meet the deadline, but you have plans set for the day, are you willing to cancel those plans to meet the deadline?
