I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Poona) in Jan 2015
Interview
There were 4 rounds totally, phone in, 1:1, technical, HR. It was easy, not many difficult questions, all were basics. Technical test was bit difficult. Interviewers were very friendly and was mostly trying to understand my passion to the particular role I was interviewing.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was brought to a room where there was another man waiting. They asked about my university course and what we do in it. They also asked about my personal projects. All of this was kept very general.
After maybe 20 minutes they gave me a laptop (thinkpad of course) with 3 questions on it. These consisted of broken or incomplete javascript/html. With minimal knowledge it could be done, there were no tricks or anything fancy.
After this there was a riddle type question just to see how you think.
Then I was given a tour of the offices, always a good sign.
