one day interview, met with many folks, at least one HR person will talk to you..just be yourself...they are more interested in your thought process instead of actual details...don't mention salary expectations even when asked...they have a strong HR team that knows the market and are going to peg you at industry levels anyway

Question 1
Why do you want to join IBM as opposed to other high fliers? When you think about it, it is not as easy a question to answer without appearing cliched or self serving
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Campinas, ) in Feb 2013
Interview
All process is done remotely. I didn't have to go to the work site before I was effectivelly hired.
Process starts with a basic interview about experiences and possibly a programming assignment. After that, a more technical interview is conducted and finally, an interview with the IBM client. Process usually takes time (more than 1 month) and is a glimpse of that is coming.

Question 1
Why should you use design patterns and good programming practices when coding?
Two rounds of interview, first technical and second managerial round. Technical is difficult to get through but after that Managerial round is easy one. Most of the times they negotiation on salary part but I heard asking technical or case study types questions as well.
