I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at JLR (Coventry, Engeland) in Nov 2015
Interview
The interview process was well defined, the first part was the tests on verbal, reasoning and math. This is where standard skills have to be proven for any job at JLR. This is the first filter to pass, after this I received a call almost a month after this tests. During this month I thought I didnt pass the first filter because I never received a confirmation email saying that I pass or not the tests. When I received the call they invited me to the assesment center in Coventry. As soon as I accepeted the invitation I received an email stating that I have passed the online tests. They covered all the costs to travel to Coventry to the assesment center. The assesment center is impressive and very professional. The interview I had consisted in two parts from 8 Am to 12 AM, the first one was the technical interview. I had to study a lot, in regards to the high performance values, the STAR approach to answer all the questions. This questions are related to your experience and they ask you questions on a situation approach. The second test was more a behavioural interview where I had to answer regarding on the situation and give solutions or ideas. I had to read all the last year news regarding on sales and market of JLR, study all the products and innovations they had during the last year. I believe that if you have reached into this level you have everything they want regarding on experience and they want to see if you fit into their culture. Prepare with the STAR approach with your previous experience. It was a enriching experience that have marked my life. It was very tough and I advise to prepare a lot. After this I had a period of almost 3 weeks when I received a formal offer.
