I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JLR (Boedapest) in Nov 2023
Interview
The interview happened in Budapest for a "Software Engineering" position for the company internal tools.
The interview was a formality. After the HR person looked at my resume told me, that this job would not be good fit for me, because I worked a lot in North America and they could not offer a comparable salary.
After some "negotiations" she admitted that their range is a gross of 34K USD per year (their offer was in equivalent HUF). Definitely very far off the 100K+ USD range that I was getting before.
She concluded that even if I would get the job, I would not be happy in the long run and their is no point in talking.
I think she was right.
