The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Walnut Creek, CA) in Jun 2010
Interview
Asked a lot of what I i did at school. Really fun interview chatted with my about my personality. learned a lot from them. Really enjoyed my volunteer experience. Many chances for promotions such as becoming a shift leader.
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (San Jose, CA) in Sep 2011
Interview
I applied on line. I received a call a several weeks later from the hiring Director's assistant. I then had multiple phone interviews and then several on-site interviews. Once I interviewed on-site, it took several months and a lot of follow-up on my part to close the deal. Even after that, the negotiation phase and such were painful to say the least. HR is a process I don't even want to go into.
Overall I would say the interviews themselves were great, but the process after made me want to eat nails. It made the overall experience for me horrible.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
The process was very choppy and took a long time. Ultimately, it took so much time I accepted another offer. It was uncoordinated with multiple assistants scheduling interviews for the same day. The key contact did not maintain my confidentiality of my job search, despite several conversations, and called my current employer (who did not know I was looking for a new job) without my permission or "heads up".
