I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
The process included an initial call with a recruiter (standard screening questions) followed by an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was very polite and attentive to detail. She had a detailed list of questions that were aligned with the role, so the interview was definitely focused and productive.

I had an interview with the hiring manager and she moved me to the next round. In the next round, I interviewed with someone who asked me about experiences that weren’t mentioned in the job description and which I didn’t have. So the interview went quickly. I wasn’t surprised to not move forward but I didn’t hear back at all, which was not appreciated after having gone through a couple of rounds of interviews.

Interview
You will be sent an email for a virtual interview called HireVue in replacement of the traditional interview. When I read the email about it being virtual the first time I thought that this may be a pre-screening before an actual interview. But I re-read the email again that itself was the interview.
