Klarna Senior Software Engineer interview questions

The interview process was the following: 1. Short interview with recruiter, about 30 minutes. Mostly introduction and presenting my background. 2. Reasoning test & take home code assignment done in Kattis. 3. First round technical interviews consisting of live coding, system design and behavioral interview (could be done in random order). Each of these interviews is about 1h. 4. Team fit and manager interview where you get to meet the team and manager(s) that you might end up working with. The whole process was very long and tedious. I applied for a hybrid-work position in one city, but the position got removed and ended up getting an offer for the same position in another city for on-site work. Wasted about 3 months because of the very long interview process and they couldn't offer the position that was initially applied for. Don't waste your time, especially when they don't live up to leadership principles that they promote.

The entire process extended over 2 months, which felt quite lengthy, especially since all interviews were completed within the initial four weeks. This process encompassed a variety of assessments, including online coding tests, logical reasoning tests, and four face-to-face interview rounds. Four rounds covered coding, system design, behavioral questions, and a team fit meeting. On the whole, the interview challenges were straightforward.
