I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Klarna in Sep 2021
Interview
Applied online. Recruiter called to discuss next steps. I was given a take home exercise and 1 week to finish it. Submitted a project and got feedback within 2 weeks.

Question 1
Gave a take-home project to implement weather app. Given an API (Years old with API deprecated way back so you have to find a workaround).
Make a call to weather API and show the data for the current location. Got back to me in 2 weeks with rejection with a rude feedback and weird suggestion how they wanted me to implement things. For reference, I submitted similar architecture for 5 other companies and they all gave a big thumbs up to me, but Klarna seemed to be an outlier so I don't feel bad about rejection.
Suggestion: Try to do things MVC way since team seemed to be interested that way. If you want to go to better companies, use this company as a launchpad since current employees don't seem to be happy anyway
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Klarna (Madrid) in Sep 2021
Interview
Long and thorough. Usually, there are four interviews, two technical and two business ones. On top of that, there is also a logic exercise in which the outcome can be arguable. The interviewers are nice and thoughtful, but the schedule for the interviews is usually during work hours so it can be difficult to balance your current work with the interview process.
