I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Koch (Logan, UT) in Sep 2018
Interview
Interview mainly focused on personality traits over technical skills. The interviewer will be testing you to make sure you are being honest. Just make sure you are being 100% honest and there won't be a problem.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you messed up, and needed to explain your wrong doing to your supervisor.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Koch
Interview
The first interview was one on one with a S&T product controller. The controller was kind, welcoming and made sure to ask me about my day before we started. The questions were mostly behavioral with one or two technical questions. We went over my resume and I was asked about what I had done & learned in my previous internships/organizations I am in etc.
The behavior questions were the run of the mill regular "Tell me about yourself", "Tell me about a time you had a problem with a team & how you fixed it", "Tell me about a time when you had to act as a leader".
The technical questions were simple and could be answered if you have prepared beforehand and read up on current events. He asked me to explain some factors that could affect a commodity market, and the way I preferred to trade commodities (no math questions).
I heard later that night that I made it to the second round and the following week I was flown up to HQ and met with several different employees before beginning 2 different interviews (back to back).
The first interview was all behavioral questions.
The second one was a mix between behavioral and technical. Know basic accounting and finance(be able to connect the financial statements) and current events. They won't question you with mental math or hard investment banking questions. Know your resume well, they will ask you in depth about it.
After finishing my interviews, they asked me to rate their interviews. They proceeded to give me a prepaid card loaded with what they expected I would spend while in Wichita (It was plenty)
Also, they offered all interviewees a tour provided by an outside service (who is absolutely hilarious and makes wichita sorta not boring).
Overall a great experience!

Question 1
Can you give me a rundown of the Financial Statements and explain to me how they are connected?
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Koch (Wichita, KS) in Sep 2018
Interview
I applied through my campus career center and my first interview was on-campus. There was a get-to-know-you mixer the night before where I met my interviewer, which led to a much more-relaxed interview, as we had already met. It only took one day to hear back that I had been selected for the next round of interviews in Wichita.
My second-round interview was a week later and began with another mixer the night before the interview where I met a young Koch employee who was to be sort of my "buddy" throughout the interview process. The next day I met with him again and he essentially took me to and from my interviews and showed me around the building.
The questions were typical interview questions- nothing technical or too difficult. There are a few interesting questions that allow the interviewer to see how well you critically think. Just make sure to be on your toes and conversational with the interviewer(s).
I received and accepted an offer about a week and a half after my second-round interview.
