There were two technical round. In first round, there were questions mainly around Java 8, SQL and OOPs. In second round the questions were around current project, multithreading, system design, behavioral etc.
The HR who I was in touch with was extremely sweet in the beginning. I got a better opportunity than this in terms of both work and compensation and hence I declined this offer. Also, I informed them 3 weeks prior to my joining about my decision. But the HR called me and started speaking very rudely. She was basically making it sound like I have done something illegal choosing another employer over them and called my unreliable and unprofessional for giving other interviews after I got selected. Not at once she asked me the reason for declining . After that conversation I felt more confident about my decision of not joining Mastercard.
Any interview is a two way process. The recruiter and interview panel represents the company and candidate also judges the company based on that. I hope Mastercard will educate their HR's to speak more professionally and respect the candidates.
