I recently went through a structured interview process that consisted of two technical rounds followed by one HR round. The overall experience was smooth and well-organized.
In the technical rounds, the focus was largely on resume-based questions. The interviewers delved deep into my projects and skills, asking insightful questions about the technologies and methodologies I had listed. They were thorough yet encouraging, creating a conducive environment for me to express my technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mastercard (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2024
Interview
Round 1 technical interview: took place over a Microsoft Teams call using CodeSignal to ask a technical question. The interviewer was very helpful, I struggled with some of the questions, but they weren't that bad at all. (I personally need to study more for technicals, but I may have psyched myself out on account of this being my first ever live techical interview. If you are prepared, this shouldn't be bad. Before the interview date, they had a panel where you could learn more about the format of the interview and what they may ask.
Also, there was time at the end for a bit of a personal chat, about past project's I've worked on, questions about the role, any questions the interviewer had, etc.
