I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
The initial recruitment went well. All of the recruiters were exceptionally professional. “Round 0” was a brief intro with the recruiter; round 1 was a 1 hour case (product design), with questions about my thought process. Final round included another case, a take home case with panelist questions, and a behavioral round.

Question 1
You sign an NDA, so questions can’t be reported. Lewis C Lin’s PM case book was helpful for prep. The interviews were fairly straightforward. The behavioral interview was unfortunately a total loss - the questions are very linear and responses must fit the specific experiences they’re looking for.
I had a check in with an interview coordinator, Interview with 4 members of the team, several back and forth phone calls with a recruiter.
Very helpful and responsive all around.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Londen, Engeland) in Jan 2022
Interview
Recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and set up a call. First call was straightforward and I progressed to next round for Product Sense and Execution interviews which were back to back via zoom.
It took the recruiter just under a week to get back to me after that. I didn't receive an offer, and Meta refuse to give feedback. Whilst the experience was ok, it was a complete waste of my time as they didn't give me any idea on what I should work on for subsequent job applications.
This has put me off from applying to Meta in future, or bothering with their recruiters should one of them get in touch with me again.
