I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Meta in Nov 2021
Interview
Reached out to by recruiter. She explained their hiring process throughly. I interviewed via video with two PMs, one for product strategy another for execution. The questions don’t matter as much as the framework and Meta will tell you this in the materials they send to help you prep. Most resources online can help you. I read the interviewees have 48 hours to submit their feedback after the interview and I waited a week before following up with recruiter. Reached out twice with no response. My career profile still says pending and was never updated. Extremely unprofessional given the caliber of this company and the time it takes for candidates to prepare. I consider this a ghost and seems like a pattern with PM candidates. Beware and don’t take it personally.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Meta in Sep 2021
Interview
Interview process was interesting and engaging. After an initial interview with a recruiter, I had a second interview with a team member, and a follow up interview with four other stakeholders. I thought the interview went relatively well, but was disappointed that both the company and recruiter "ghosted" me after the final interview. It would have been nice to have a follow up, even if I did not get the job.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
The process is as they describe it. You have 2 rounds of Product Sense and Execution interviews and a Leadership and Drive in the second round. You need to practice the structure of how to answer the PS and E questions. Since I was applying to a specific position I also had an interview with my Hiring Manager to probe my experience in my specific area. Everyone was pretty nice. I requested an additional chat with the actual team I’d be working with as none of the interviewers would have been on my team except the HM.
