Meta Product Manager interview questions

Recruiter reached out to me. Interview took abt 2.5 months. Quite shocking that recruiter first gave me a good salary range and then lowered numbers later. Interviews are very typical behavioral questions and different people asked me the same thing over and over again. It seemed to me they didn't really have clue what they're looking for. There were cases but not very hard. At the end, I was told the interviews went great but they were not going to give me any offer.

Product sense (design a product) and product execution (how to evaluate a product in the market) interviews. If you're an experienced person definitely useful to spend time thinking about the way they want you to answer the problem rather than how you might actually do this IRL at your job. I had a mixed experience in terms of interviewer quality. Think I got unlucky with 2 more junior PMs who didn't really seem to be understand how to interview. One was ten minutes late, suggested we could add this on at the end and then cut me off ten minutes early. The other was just an incredibly unhelpful and non-conversational interviewer(you're told it's going to be fairly open dialogue to go through a problem and it should be conversational). Based on my experience I'm unconvinced by the quality of the people I might work with (which was main reason why I agreed to interview there). Probably wouldn't apply again based on this 🤷‍♂️
