I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Takes weeks and weeks to get any response from HR. The worst experience I ever had interviewing for finance jobs (I've interviewed with dozens of firms including prestigious bulge bracket and middle market banks). Absolutely terrible
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Moody's (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Initial phone screen with Manager for pre-interview telephone/screening. Onsite interview with developers. Later technical round with Lead Architect. The whole process took about 2 weeks and HR was quick in response and also ready to take over the current status. Overall a very health and positive experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic technical questions to begin. More questions based on my past experience in java and the technologies used. Later Java puzzle to solve and white boarding questions. Panelists make sure that one is not stressed out.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's
Interview
Online application. Afterwards a telephone interview with HR.
A week later, called in for a face - to - face interview. At the end, I had 3 face-to-face interviews including a finance / accounting exam during the first one.
The process is not hard as long as you understand the role, the company and the industry. I recommend to read all their website.
