I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Morningstar in Mar 2021
Interview
Very long process, they took almost a month to complete the process. Even though the job is monotonous and can be mastered in 1 week they are taking 3 rounds of interviews. First was a lame test followed by 3 interviews by robots. They are so predictable people. Just go through all questions in glassdoor they will ask you from that only. They have a list of questions with them and will ask from that. Hardly they will ask something else.
Here's the cheat sheet:
Introduce Yourself
1.What is the link b/w P&L, BS, and CFS
2.What is basic and diluted EPS
3.What is minority Interest, explain with an example
4.What is impairment cost, amortization, and depreciation
5.Enterprise Value
6.type of debt instruments
7.typical capital structure
8.zero-coupon bonds
9.GAAP & IFRS
10.Direct and Indirect method of CFS
11.Diff b/w fair value, market value & book value
If you are going through campus placement it's going to be fine. But if you are applying directly from their website, so don't become happy if you are selected for the next round. You have to complete all the rounds first that is 1. Team lead 2. Manager round 3. HR round. Once you have completed then everyone's feedback will be collected and then a decision will be made. I haven't got a response even after completing the HR round. The team lead & Manager will ask the same questions & HR will ask why have u taken finance (IDK if it's a relevant question, I mean why would I have completed MBA in FINANCE if I was not Intrested???)
The position is not too great, but if you are desperate like me then just get inside the company that should be your main goal irrespective of whether you have skills like modeling, forecasting, valuation etc (This role is only for data collection you won't be analyzing it so no need for any type of skills)

Question 1
Prepare finance question you have seen in class 12th
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Morningstar (Bombay) in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview process took a quite long time. The first round considered an aptitude test and later on there were 2-3 more rounds which went from Team Leader to Manager and then HR.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions like financial ratios, equity, debt, and mutual funds.
It was good and clear, though takes a long time. The interviewers are really very sweet and polite and helpful if interviewees have any doubts. Overall good experience. One must experience the same and atleast try to get into the company. It'll be a boost for the resume as well.
