I went through 5 rounds of interviews over two months, receiving positive feedback after each round and even an oral "yes" after the final interview. Despite this, I was met with vague responses and delays. Eventually, I was told that due to restructuring and difficulties in team growth, they couldn't proceed with the role. However, the position is still open on LinkedIn, and they continue to interview new applicants. The slow and unclear communication made the process frustrating and disappointing. Candidates deserve transparency and timely updates, especially after investing significant time and effort.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your interview experience. We apologize for the frustration and disappointment you felt during the process, especially after your dedication throughout multiple rounds of interviews.
We understand that clear and timely communication is crucial, particularly when candidates have invested considerable time and effort. Your comments are taken seriously, and we will review our processes to ensure better transparency and communication moving forward.
We appreciate your interest in OMP and wish you all the best in your future career endeavors.
Best regards,
The OMP Recruitment Team
There are 3 steps. The first is a pre-interview, about 20 minutes, second is an exam. Another is the last interview. The written exam is not hard. You have 60 minutes.
I applied online. I interviewed at OMP in Apr 2021
Interview
The interview wasn't like other interviews, it was only checking the positions you applied or are interested, your salary expectation, etc. Very friendly. Then, I received the assessment test.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The assessment test was a one-hour test with some simple (for a programmer) programming tasks and OR questions. I ran out of time and answered only 5 questions out of 17 I guess. My background is Math and Economics, and I didn't have time to review my OR courses in my Bachelor's, and to prepare for the test in general. I think an OR student can easily pass this stage.
