Interview
I sent in my resume, and originally started working on the floor. I have since progressed, and now have a cubicle, desk phone etc. Didn't really have to interview, as they knew me from working there before
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Parker Hannifin (New Hope, MN) in Jan 2008
Interview
I was working a contract job when first notified by a staff recruiter that his client company was interested in having me in for an interview. The recruiter set up the interview time and place. The first person I interviewed with was the department manager. Then I interviewed with the same department manager and a supervisor. The supervisor had some technical questions directly related to the job. I found these questions easier than the ones the manager had presented.

Question 1
Why do you want to leave your current job to work here?
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Parker Hannifin in Nov 2010
Interview
The interview process starts at your college or university. The interviewer will ask you several questions about the company and the specific job you are interviewing for. In the first step of the interview process you want to make sure you are on board with everything the job may include: travel, long hours, etc. Parker is only looking for candidates who are willing to play ball, no mavericks in this first interview. The second interview is a brief phone conversation from, most likely the division that is willing to take you aboard, and a request for a final interview at corporate in Cleveland. Make sure you bring your a game to this interview because you are going to be interviewed by some top dogs. That being said don't be scary, it is more of a personality test. They want to see you interact with people and see how you think on your feet. These interviews are panel interviews with all the prospecting divisions. Each group will ask you why you are best suited for there group and the general 21 questions game. Come prepared and this full day of interviews won't be that bad. The results of my interview came in less than 48 hours. You will be notified promptly, if you made it or not.
