3 Online questions, about how you dealt with certain scenarios. One of the worst screening processes I have come across. You are judged on three skills from these questions, and you get rated on a scale after the applications are submitted. If you do not reach the minimum, you do not pass through the stage. Despite claiming no bias, it seems like an incredibly biased response, because it is very unusual to base someone's character off three answers. Not a good interview process.

Question 1
How did you build a relationship with someone with a different view?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Londen, Engeland) in Oct 2018
Interview
I submitted a CV, cover letter and portfolio to Penguin Random House through their careers website. I heard back a few weeks later that I had been selected for interview and went to their London offices. I met with a lead designer for the children's section and another designer who was previously a design assistant. It was a pretty informal interview- I talked them through my portfolio, answered various questions about my experience, got to have a look at some of the books they were currently working on etc. I also had a chance to ask them questions at the end. They said there would be a second interview with higher up members of the team should I be successful at the first interview stage. I heard back several weeks later that I hadn't got the job, there was a little in the way of feedback too which helped.

Interview
I had two initial screenings with HR that was over about a two month process. Then I had an interview with who would be my supervisor, and the following day her supervisor. Each interview was about ten minutes in length, and more like a conversation.
