I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (New York, NY)
Interview
Talked to HR on the phone and was asked typical questions (why publicity, work history, etc.). Before my interview, I was asked to complete two sample tasks. Then, I went in for an interview, which started with talking to HR. The HR interview was more formal, but pretty typical. Then I met with the hiring managers and a few members of publicity staff. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. It was more conversational than formal. They wanted to get to know more about me, as a person rather than an employee (although both types of questions were presented).

Question 1
What do you think you can do to help Random House?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (New York, NY) in May 2016
Interview
The process took about 2 weeks. I received an email from the recruiter to set up and interview. I interviewed with the recruiter, and the lady (a Publicity) that would have been my boss. The questions were pretty standard- asking about my experience/background from past employment. After the whole interview process, there was no follow-up, letting me know if I had received the job or not, even after I sent an email asking about the status of my application.
