I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House
Interview
Interview was very basic questions. Met with HR, asked very basic questions, had to wait a few days until they called me to offer me a job. Very easy to get a job here, even if you have a record. Lots of people had ankle bracelets on!
HR gave me a call and after a short phone interview, scheduled an in-person interview. The first of these interviews was with the HR rep, who later scheduled an interview with the editor the position would be assisting.

Interview
The interview process started with a phone interview then followed with four different in person interviews. During the interviews, questions were more personality based. As this position is an assistant role, the interviewers were concerned with how well candidates would fit in with the team, both personality and work habit wise. Although each interview was very professional, the entire process took about a month and it took a very long time to hear back about their final decision.

Question 1
Not too many tricky questions. Besides personality questions, I was asked to describe my management style. That was a little difficult to answer because it's hard to put into words.
