Question 1
Pourquoi le secteur des technologies ? Pourquoi Salesforce ?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
Applied for position and was contacted by the recruiter. By coincidence, another former colleague of mine was interviewing for the same role! More on that later. After initial recruiter interview, First had Skype interview with hiring manager, and then phone interviews with 4 of her team. After the last phone interview, which I was told she interviews only for 'cultural fit' it went silent. The last interviewer told me (at length) how people come from outside of Salesforce, like IBM and HP, and aren't used to working this hard, because it is still a startup. I was coming from years at IBM and Ca, and consider myself a committed employee and hard worker, but this interviewer already had me set up to fail in her mind. I was also told that 10 interviews is the average for Salesforce. My former colleague had the same experience with same recruiter! 4 interviews, then totally non responsive! We both followed up multiple times and both have great experience and ample qualifications for this role. Beware if you get this guy, or the preset belief of the cultural fit interview.
While I would encourage Salesforce to at least get back to their applicants, especially after an investment of time in multiple interviews. Really, it is a sad state that the position is still open 6 months later! I think that says enough about their hiring process. Maybe the woman with strong biases against large company experience should be culturally removed from interviewing. And, unless y are a C level, 10 interviews as an average, seems tremendously excessive. It is a waste of your employees time, and that of the candidates.

Question 1
How do you describe yourself? How do others describe you? Who do you know at Accenture (the role was to cover ACN in alliances)? Do you have event experience? How do you see yourself fitting into Salesforce?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Contacted by recruiter via email and scheduled a call. Upon our conversation, recruiter was direct and asking about compensation. Explained briefly about benefits. Talked about job, reporting manager and culture of SF. Friendly demeanor. Followed-up phone call was more about benefits and negotiation about base compensation. Easy to deal with and no pressure whatsoever.
