I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2026
Interview
This process took over 2 months to complete. First was a conversation with the hiring manager, then with the Director 2 weeks after. Then another quick chat with the hiring manager to align on next steps, which was a demo (of my choice) in front of a panel. I was very fortunate and had the opportunity to discuss my demo to one of the members of the panel before hand.
The Demo wasn't really difficult, because it was an area that I was very familiar with, but what caught me off guard was they asked questions they knew I wouldnt know the answer to, I guess they want to see how I would respond, and they didn't wait until the end of the demo to ask questions. All in all it seemed like it went well. I was confident however, you get in your head a little. A week passed, and I had not heard anything, until a few days later I was offered the position.

Question 1
Hoe ga jij het verschil maken binnen Servicenow waarbij collega's veelal druk zijn met veel cases en klanten en je toch de hulp nodig hebt van een of meerdere specialistische collega's om een klantverzoek te beantwoorden?
The recruiter missed the meeting at the scheduled time, but then called my cellphone 75 min later when I was busy. They then admitted that the role I had applied for was already filled, and then spent 45 min rambling aimlessly about how he got into the software business.
