I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sodexo (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2015
Interview
1. Phone Screen
2. Phone Interview
3. In person interview
4. Background check
5. Let you know if you were selected or not
Sodexo has the same list of formatted questions for every job description. If you interview for an executive chef at two different locations, the interview process and questions are the same no matter where you apply.
Several phone calls, really generic questions. The management sounds like a bunch of roots with no personality. They really don't care if you can cook or not. The salary was decent and they want you to work alot. Might as well just take a normal chef position.

Question 1
"How do you keep a kitchen clean?"
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sodexo (Houston, TX) in Jun 2014
Interview
The interview process was pretty straight forward. Several phone interviews, starting with recruiter, then GM and management panel interview (over the phone). The next step for me was arranging a visit to the location which was out of state. The company flew me there and put me in a hotel. I was given a mystery basket and had to cook several dishes under time restraints. Presented my dishes to the management team and some front line staff. A short interview followed the cooking test. I was offered the position 3 days later
