I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Stow, OH) in Jul 2013
Interview
The hiring process was quick. If you're looking for a job around August or the holiday season they are always desperate for help. The first interview is usually with the person that is going to be your direct supervisor. Dress business attire. This is your time to shine. If they call you back for a second interview then you most likely have the job. Many of the questions are of the format, "Tell me a time when..." They want to hear about the process that you took to accomplish something not just the end result.

Question 1
The most difficult question that I was asked was, "Tell me about a time where you did something wrong at work and how you corrected for it."
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (San Luis Obispo, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
Applied online and three days later got a call for an in-store interview. Arrived a couple minutes early, and they had me take a online math skills test by customer service area. When I finished, I was brought back to their interview room. I had 3 interviews. 2 were with flow team leaders, and 1 with an HR person. The questions they asked were really simple. Got a conditional offer!
Only hard part was waiting 30 minutes to take my drug test at the testing site. I was about to explode!
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (Oakdale, MN) in Jul 2013
Interview
phone interview scheduled 2 days after applying online, but the interviewer missed the time and called 30 minutes later asking to re-schedule for tomorrow. the phone interview was around 15 minutes, very basic and simple questions, weakness and strengths, 3 "describe a time" questions. That went smoothly, phone call hours later and was set up for a face to face interview the next day. went in, had to do a few more questions on the store kiosk. After I met the interviewer we went over my time available for work, watched 5-10 minute long very propaganda like and outdated video about how great target is and how they work in the perfect environment. the interview was just as easy as the phone interview with 3 situational questions (if xxxx happens, what would you do), which I found even easier. they offered the job and scheduled a orientation on the following Friday. Had to do a drug test within 24 hrs
