I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Sicklerville, NJ) in Jun 2013
Interview
I applied online and about two weeks later I received a phone call to set up a phone interview. It was scheduled for two days later (Thursday) at 9:30am. I never received a call until the next and was told they forgot to call me. It was then rescheduled for Monday. I got the phone call that time and the interview lasted 10 minutes. I then received a phone call Thursday to come in for an interview the next day. I went in Friday and watched a 5 minute video. I was then brought into an office for my interview. I only had one interview (not two like most people). I was then offered the job 10 minutes later.

Interview
Applied online. Within 2 days I received a voicemail. Unfortunately, I was out of the country and I called back almost a week later. I was concerned about my late response but the HR manager was very kind and set up a phone interview a few days later. After that, I had a in-person interview with the Logistics ETL (executive team leader). I am normally very nervous in interviews but felt relatively calm throughout and thought it was a positive experience. However, I did call back once or twice the next week to see if I got the job..which I did.

Question 1
Almost all of the questions were situational...can't remember specifics now.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target in May 2013
Interview
I filled out an application online and was contacted 2 days later to schedule an interview at the store. My availability was confirmed over the phone, but that was all I was asked... I never had an actual phone interview. My interview was scheduled for a Wednesday, exactly one week after I had turned in my application. They set me up at one of the job kiosks to do an assessment. The assessment consisted of some scenario based questions asking how I would react in certain situations, as well as a few questions to test my skills for basic math. It was very easy. I was first interviewed by a team leader. He asked me some general questions about myself as well as some questions about situations I'd been in and how I had handled them. The questions were fairly simple, but you will be asked to provide specific examples, and they are looking for details! He then set me up to watch a video about Target that was several minutes long. You'll need to pay attention because the next person you interview with will ask questions that relate to the video. Next, I was interviewed by an individual who who had more authority than the team leader. He asked me 1 or two more situation questions (basically the same thing the team leader had covered but worded differently) and several questions about my personality and experience. He asked if I had any questions. I asked if he could tell me more about the machines that are used in the backroom of the store and he then took me back to show me what the back room was like and how things functioned. He then told me that if everything sounded good to me then he'd like to offer me the position. He led me to an HR person who explained that I needed to take a drug test within 24 hours and that It would take about a week. She said they would be contacting me for orientation once they got the results.
Interview questions [5]
Question 1
The questions were all fairly easy. Overall, you want to show them that you can work as part of a team and that you have experience doing so as they are very big on time efficiency and team work. Also, have experiences/stories in mind to share! The questions on here WILL help you prepare. They ask everyone the same questions off of a sheet of paper.
Why do you want to work at target?
