Tech Mahindra Asociates Software Engineer interview questions

First we had a written test. Test contained aptitude and verbal questions. It had negative marking as well but don't know why but after the test they exempted the negative marking. Next round was Technical where they asked on some basic OOPs concepts and java questions. Also focused on our academic project as well. The final round was HR.

round 1 was an online multiple choice type test with 160 questions. easy level questions covering a variety of topics number system, Venn diagram,race, time speed, time and distance, average, decision making, English grammar, direction logic, etc. all the questions were easy, you need to fast to clear the test. And then came essay writing, given 10 minutes for writing essay on the given topic. Both MCQ and essay writing rounds were " elimination rounds". total appeared- 200 after MCQ round- 32 after essay writing- 27 technical interview- 22 HR - 17(final selection)
