I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Tech Mahindra (Noida) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview process at Tech Mahindra had four rounds. The first was a screening round to evaluate communication skills and basic technical understanding. Then there were two technical rounds focusing on Python, AI concepts, problem-solving, and project discussion. The final round was the HR discussion, which covered behavioural questions, work culture fit, and career goals.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the Tech Mahindra interview process, they mainly focused on my understanding of AI concepts and practical implementation. One important question they asked was to explain my project in detail — especially how I designed the AI workflow and handled real-world challenges.
They also asked about Python fundamentals, prompt engineering, how I reduce hallucinations in LLM systems, and how I handle high-pressure situations in projects.
The discussion was more practical and scenario-based rather than theoretical.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tech Mahindra (Bengaluru) in Feb 2026
Interview
1st round: android questions (frameworks + app dev)
2nd round: android questions (frameworks + app dev)
2nd interviewer was really unprofessional. kids and wife playing in the same room and he was attending office meeting at the same time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
really basic and obscure android questions. Did not test my knowledge.
They wanted someone to make analytical models and calculators for LAM Research. Questions were on heat transfer, CFD, numerical methods etc. The HR round was a nightmare though. The HR kept haggling even after I clearly stated my salary requirements. And when I refused the offer, the HR still kept calling and intimidating me.
