Group interview process 5 of us in total....gave us a couple of tasks...silly things to see how we got on in team work...who stepped forward to lead the task...who contributed....as we all acknowledged with what input we gave whether it was used or not...there were 3 members of Tesco who interviewed us....the store manager.....and 2 other ladies...all were very nice and made you feel at ease and relaxed...I was very surprised at the speed in which everything happened.
I applied online on the Friday night....I received a phone call Saturday afternoon to ask me to come for interview on the Wednesday evening and at the interview we were told we would receive a phone call Thursday to let us know either way whether we were successful...I received my call Thursday evening offering me X amount of hours eg what days and times and was this ok and am I happy to accept....of course I said yes as it suited my situation at home....all but 1 of us were offered positions with Tesco and of the 4 of us....I am the only one remaining

Relaxed but professional. Although I had worked for Tesco for many years previously they still put me through the necessary training as required. They did not assume I knew it all, policies change over the years.
