Interview
Very quick process, I received a call a few days after applying online asking to make arrangements for an interview. At the interview she asked me around 4 competency questions and asked me to write down my availability. The questions weren't too difficult and were fairly generic, ones you can easily find online and prepare for.

Interview
I have applied for 4 customer service assistant positions through their website tesco.com. Few days later I was sent a message saying: I'd like to invite you for an interview Tuesday 5pm (from the manager) . I confirmed that I would come.
Upon arrival I had to sign in at the customer service desk. Surprisingly I saw that I wasn't the only one they're interviewing today... We were 10! So the manager took us upstairs to a meeting room. There she introduced herself and gave us 2 forms; Health check screening form and availability form. Subsequently she took out a small booklet where she wrote our names (on each book). This book had the interview question. Instead of giving them out so we can fill them, she asked us the questions and each person answered them while she wrote them down. (so she could hear and see us speak)
I literally studied for the interview. I wrote down all the questions that might come up and answered them on a piece of paper. This helps a lot as you will be having your answers prepared for when the question comes up. To prevent sitting there scratching your head thinking 💭 I don't know what to say. Even if you have no answer to the question.. use your imagination, nobody can say that you're lying....!
After that we were taken to the shop floor where we had to put out stock. We had to do the kitchen rolls, toilet roles and frizzy drinks. Another task was to tidy up the shelves, they call it "rumbling" lol. Was easy!
Another tip; Be prepared! Bring with you, your passport, up to date CV and a PEN
At the moment im waiting to get a call back!
It will take them about a week.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE, I hope this was useful!
And if u want the other interview questions, just let me know.. I have a list and they won't ask you anything outside the list.

Interview
Application form, Online verbal, numerical and situational judgement tests, telephone interview (about 10 competency questions, make sure you have a lot of examples and look up their company values and leadership requirements) then assessment centre.
Assessment centre consisted of:
3D CV - Remember they already have your CV so this is a presentation exercise, be as creative as possible, try and show them something that your CV doesn't include, it depends on your assessor but some were very strict on time
Interview - Competency questions but also asked about your values and your hobbies outside of work and why you want to work for Tesco
Group Exercise - Get to know the other candidates as much as possible beforehand, it will greatly help your ability to work together, make sure to speak up and relax. They want to see the real you and can only assess you if you say something.
Presentation - You're given a selection of opportunities and you have to decide which one is best and how you would make the most of it then present your idea. You will have to defend your choice and there is a lot of information given so consider your reading speed in your approach as you only have half an hour to read everything and prepare for the presentation.
There was a lot of time between assessments so try and use this time to get to know the available HR people and ask any questions, they make the decision that day so try and talk to as many people as possible.
