I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Stoke-on-Trent, England) in Nov 2015
Interview
Online application where you have to complete 20 scenario questions before you can complete an application. The interview itself consisted of helping another warehouse operative who was stacking shelves. This I did for one hour. Hardly had any interaction with the interviewer at all. A very disappointing experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Budaörs) in Nov 2015
Interview
Average interview, rude style of questioning (discriminative of my age). It felt like everything has already been decided and it is pointless for me to be there. The new boss who was looking for her replacement did not say much, seemed that she did not even care. In the end she forgot to say properly goodbye. The person who made the interview was kind, but in her questioning the 10 years age difference between us sounded like I am an elderly person coming from Mars. I must have made a very negative first impression. It was a terrible experience. They did not even ask relevant business questions.

One of the more straightforward interview processes.
There was a Group interview on many competency questions led by the manager.
Try to stand out as there was about 15 people in the interview and only about 5 of us got hired.
