I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Tipalti
Interview
STAY AWAY! I had the worst mental trauma after giving 5 rounds of interviews. They would move you quickly up until someone in the last round drops you out of the blue. It seems like the hiring channel is very discriminatory. I have followed up personally on LinkedIn after months of finding out who they are hiring, and there is an 80% chance it would be native.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tipalti in May 2024
Interview
I have invited to submit my availabilty 3 times - each email I got looked like it came from a person but definitely felt like it was automated as the same email came through 3 times - 3 days apart, and no acknowledgement after I responded.
After the last submission of availbilty I contacted a few contacts I knew on LinkedIn and got a invitation to Round 1 Interviews - I confirmed it.
However I waited on the call (5mins prior to the time, and 10mins past the interview time) and nobody showed.
I emailed saying the above, and requested for a reschedule. Two days later I have yet to receive any apology, any acknowledgement or even a reschedule of event.
Disappointed as Tipalti has been on the top of my list for Companies to watch.

WORST WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY CAREER- NEVER HAD SUCH MENTAL TRAUMA
I applied for AE and then they told me i am not a good fit for AE and would cosider for an SDR(were not hiring SDRs at that time this is what i was being informed in begining of Feb,24)
I was told there will be 4 rounds and then during process it extended to 6 rounds and one guy who joined them literally during my interview process came and interrupted in the last final round and said would love to interview you.
I asked HR , why did'nt you invite him to this final round and i could still wait to which HR replied he was never part of the process he came as a volunteer.
The guy was of senior level however he was C-level minus 3 in hierarchy and i thought its fine .
However, my experience as a candidate was not up to the mark with him, he was interrupting me in between and looking here and there when i asked him questions he did not answer them fully. Overall, i was informed that I spoke too fast according to him which the other interviewee did not feel and convyed, my overall experience with those before him was very great, I made mistakes and learned from their insights actually.
As a candidate, i would like to reject the guy who took my final interview as he was not really attentive to what i was saying throughout the process.
