Very good interview. It was a fast process with nice people. Never asked me about my personal life so that was a very good thing since they focused on my career and not on my personal life.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TransPerfect in Apr 2021
Interview
The person who interviewed me was unprofessional and talking to another person in the background, clearly thinking he was muted. Compensation is very poor, only offering 48k for a non entry-level role in the company. I have 3 years of PM experience and 2 years of PC experience beforehand. Would not recommend.

Question 1
What is your salary expectation? (They were only offering 48k for NYC)
After submitting my resume, I was contacted for an initial phone interview. The questions were typical of project management interviews: "describe a project you've worked on, how did you overcome challenges, etc..." It was short, only 20 minutes. The final question was whether I would be interested in moving to New York City when it is safe to do so. The position was advertised as a remote position, but their expectation is that the position would transition to in-person. I was not interested in relocating to NYC.
