I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Turing
Interview
The interview process was structured in three stages. The first round was a screening, followed by a sourcing assessment where I had to demonstrate my skills using LinkedIn Recruiter. The final round was heavily metrics- and numbers-driven — to the point where it felt more like an interrogation than a conversation.
Although I was told it would include behavioral questions, none were asked. Instead, the interviewer focused on dissecting every detail of my metrics, even recalculating numbers I mentioned and asking me to explain her results. I also explained that metrics vary across projects, but that didn’t seem to resonate.
Overall, the process felt overly rigid and analytical, as if they were looking for someone purely numbers-driven rather than a well-rounded recruiter. It left me with the impression that they value output metrics over collaboration, judgment, or adaptability.

Question 1
Give me conversion rates for every stage. What was your response rates on LI…if you were having 35% response rates on average that means you would receive 170 responses. How do you have 20-30 calls per week in that case…
Quite tough vetting process contains multiple rounds.
Totally 5 rounds profile creation, experience add on, behavioural quest, communication check, tech stack choosing, problem solving, coding and bar raiser after joining in to team also it will be 10 days performace check after that only u can work there else only one exit call enough to throw u out it's terrible.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Turing (Haiderabad) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process was refreshingly direct and insightful. I particularly appreciated that it was conducted by a subject matter expert in biology, which ensured the questions were both relevant and technically substantive. It was a welcome change to engage in a meaningful discussion rooted in domain expertise rather than a generic AI-based screening.
However, I would like to express some concern regarding the handling of the contract. While the hiring experience was largely positive, the decision to place the contract on hold without any prior communication or explanation was disappointing. The absence of feedback or clarity around this change has left the situation feeling unresolved and unprofessional, especially given the otherwise thoughtful approach during the interview phase.

Question 1
The interview process was refreshingly direct and insightful. I appreciated that the interview was conducted by a subject matter expert in cell biology, making the questions highly relevant to my specific experience. It was a relief to engage in a meaningful technical discussion about cellular pathways rather than an AI-based screening.
