I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Aliso, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
The interview was just a group of us that got a tour of the facility. The supervisor talks about how hard the job is and how you should not work there unless you want to be there for at least 2 years. We saw one person doing the job and he was completely drenched in sweat. Met a couple of supervisors that were on the clock and they told us about their experiences.

Very easy. Apply online at UPS for package handler position and you will be given an orientation tour date and time. Take the tour and from there, decide if you want to continue with the job. After you tell the HR manager you wish to continue, They will then do a formal interview which is not very hard.
