Sharing real-world lessons on scaling mobile systems. Cecilia Geraldo Quijada from our Chile office spoke at an international React conference in Italy about a challenge many teams face: scaling a React Native application across more than 15 teams without losing clarity or ownership. Her session explored large-scale modularization as a practical, evolving approach grounded in strong technical foundations. The event also marked a personal milestone, her first time speaking in Europe, following talks in North America and at XConf 2025 in Brazil. A journey shaped by curiosity and a commitment to sharing knowledge across borders.

Eight hours. One challenge. Real-world impact. At Newcastle University, teams came together to tackle sustainable cities and cost-of-living pressures through a focused design sprint grounded in action. Using AI-augmented research, rapid ideation techniques and live community testing, participants moved from assumptions to evidence, prototyping solutions aimed at warmer homes and lower bills. A hands-on exploration of how design, technology and user insight can come together to address complex challenges. 🏠⚡🌱
From AI agents reshaping how software is built to growing questions around trust, knowledge sharing and organizational readiness, the conversations at the Future of Software Development Retreat were candid, challenging and grounded in real practice. Across two days, participants explored the shift from writing code to expressing intent, the rise of supervisory engineering and what human expertise looks like in an AI-native world. 🌎
Is the era of “Time and Materials” over? In a feature with AIM Media House, our Chief Data and AI Officer, Shayan Mohanty, shares why the future of software delivery is less about AI tools and more about building a strong Execution Moat. As enterprises move from pilots to production, the shift is from experimentation to standardization. The article highlights how we approach this through AI/works™, embedding AI deep into the engineering stack with techniques like abstract syntax trees and graph-based representations, prioritizing execution over hype.
