The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Avon in Feb 2010
Interview
I felt the person doing the phone interview was only looking for sales experience and how many people you can recruit. She had a line of questions and would not deviate. I found out why once I started asking questions. She did not work for Avon and really knew nothing about the job, was just screening. I didn't really get the chance at the job because she would not deviate at all.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Avon (Suffern, NY) in Dec 2009
Interview
Timely communications. Salary sensitive. Like to offer less what it is expected and interview on occasion was sometimes very personal and sensitive as well as depressing to hear from a potential employer how dissatisfied their management was.

Question 1
What was the most difficult task you encountered in your past?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Avon in Mar 2010
Interview
I applied online and after over a month, I received an email asking me to do a questionnaire. I filled it out and received another email asking me for a phone interview. I read up quite a bit on the company and had all sorts of ideas, but unfortunately that was not what the phone interviewer was looking for. She was open about it when asked, as she could not answer any of my questions pertaining directly to the job. She said she was looking for someone to fit their recruiting and sales questions, period. I was a little bit disappointed when I did not get a face to face interview, but I had not really expected to move on. I feel they are missing out by having their telephone interview so narrow.
