I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Skillman, NJ) in Aug 2013
Interview
Applied online. Two days later was contacted to do a phone interview. Phone interview was with HR, fairly straightforward phone screen. (Why are you interested in financial services, why Bloomberg etc). The next day received an email and was invited to travel to their office for a day of interviews. They flew me down and paid from my transportation to/ from the airport. Brief meeting with HR then two half hour, two-on-one interviews.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Sep 2013
Interview
Pretty straightforward interview-lots of behavioral. What motivates you etc. Also be sure to know why you want to work at Bloomberg and and why you want to do global data. How past experiences have molded you well for the role. Very nice people...great experience. Biggest advice-make sure you tailor your resume/background experiences to show that you really love information and can handle large scales of information analyzing at a very fast pace.
