The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cardinal Health (Aurora, IL) in Feb 2010
Interview
The interview processe starts with a series of email confirmations and a 15-30 minute phone interview from corporate HR department. About 3-4 days later you receive an email stating when you have your first 1 on 1 interview with the Aurora facality HR. If all goes well you will have a second interview with the plant director. If offered position you must pass a drug panel and background checks.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cardinal Health in Nov 2010
Interview
The first round consisted of a 1:1 interview that went through my resume and asked the typical behavioral questions. The second round was at the Cardinal Health headquarters and involved a written test and a series of 1:1 interviews. The written text covered the reasoning behind some of Cardinal Health's financial decisions in the past in addition to basic algebra and problem solving questions. The 1:1 interviews were primarily behavioral questions with 1 interview going over basic technical questions related to finance and accounting. I would advise doing some basic research into CH's large financial moves in the past and why they made them in addition to brushing up on your basic accounting and financial knowledge if you are rusty.
While it is advertised as a "Finance" rotational program is primarily focused on the accounting side. Everyone was pleasant but I wouldn't describe the staff as energetic or excited about their work.
