Interview in Chicago with Hiring Manager & VP of the Division
I utilized a "brag book" to relate my experience to Cardinal's position.
Managers were approachable, I didn't get the inflated egos like many of the other medical companies I interviewed with.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cardinal Health (Dublin, OH) in Jun 2010
Interview
first i had 2 brief phone interview. For onsite, there are 4 people interviewed me. Including behavior question, case study, SAS code exam and write SAS code on white board
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Cardinal Health (Elk Grove, CA) in Apr 2009
Interview
The interviewing process was overkill, which is why I turned down the initial offer. I was invited back for five separate interviews, before a panel interview. I received a phone call a few months later, inviting me back for another interview. I negotiated a higher starting rate, to leave my current employer then. Behavioral based questions, taken directly out of a corporate interviewing guide, e.g. give me an example of a time you had to perform a task that you did not agree with, STAR style answer is expected. Different categories were Maturity, Conflict resolution, Adaptability, Lean Six-Sigma, and Management style. Panel interviews consist of whoever is in the building at the time, e.g. Operations Manager, Financial Controller, Credit Manager, Inventory Manager, Warehouse Manager/Supervisor, and even the front office gal if they are short interviewers.
