Interview went okay but didn't hear back from them, even though I was told I should expect a response. No feed back or call back. I waited a few weeks then gave up on hearing back.

Technical interview was done via an online coding platform
I applied online. I interviewed at Checkout.com in Apr 2024
Interview
I had a great experience during my interview process with Checkout.
From the start, they provided excellent support and explained the entire process clearly.
The first stage was a discussion with their talent acquisition team. Next, I had a technical interview, followed by a live coding test. They shared the test in advance, giving me time to prepare my environment and basic code. During the live coding, I had to explain my understanding of the project and complete the task.
Throughout all stages, the interviewers were professional and helpful. Although I didn't get the job, I appreciated the positive experience compared to some other companies.
They didn’t keep me waiting. They promptly provided feedback and next steps. That level of responsiveness matters a lot to candidates.
At the end of the process, I received concise feedback explaining their decision. Overall, I appreciate the professionalism and support provided by Checkout throughout the entire interview experience.
One suggestion I have for companies in general, is to consider a candidate’s potential to learn and grow. Sometimes, a few areas for improvement don’t define a person’s abilities.
