I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Checkout.com (Londen, Engeland) in Feb 2022
Interview
The entire team during my interview was extremely friendly and welcoming. The process started with a short chat with the recruiter, and followed up with a take-home coding test in Next.js. After this, there's a code review with two members of the team, a chat around work culture and values, and finally a chat on leadership and working style.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Checkout.com (Londen, Engeland) in Dec 2021
Interview
I had an initial discussion with the internal recruiter on LinkedIn, this then led to a phone call interview discussing general questions about my suitability for the role. Following on from this, the main bulk of the interview consisted of the following stages:
1) Technical Interview with an Engineering Lead: this is based on technical questions around system design concepts and my experience with architecture.
2) Design Interview: I was presented with a system to design and questions surrounding my design were asked. Here what's been looked at is reliability, performance, security etc..
3) Take home code test which is payment system related API. There are no specific technical requirements here. You are given flexibility to see how you would go about it (if you want to do it properly, this does take up a lot of time).
4) Final technical interview: lots of questions around C#, .NET, Design Patterns
Dear colleague,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us such a detailed review of our interview process, we really appreciate it.

Interview
It started with a first call from the People team, just to align interests and expectations. It was followed by a take-home technical test and, after succeeding on doing it, a call with the interviewing team is scheduled. This was a very easy-going technical interview, where I really felt comfortable even when I didn't have an immediate answer to a question - at some point, it became an healthy discussion as if I was already part of the team.
At last, a very welcoming a cultural/behavioural interview, where I could find more about the work-life balance of the company.
