I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Databricks (New York, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
- Learning more about the role and my experience and how they align. - Learned more about the steps involved in the hiring process. I thought the conversation went absolutely fine but I received an auto-generated email a few days later that it would not be going forward
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Databricks (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview process was very straight forward and quick: 1) Recruiter screening 2) interview with hiring manager 3) interview with their manager 4) mock sales call with hiring manager and their manager

Question 1
Mock sales call to an account they provided with deck they provided.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks in Mar 2022
Interview
Pretty standard - Call with the recruiter then first interview with Manager, second interview was with a director, and the final was a thirty, sixty, ninety day presentation. I don't think any of the interviews were tough. The manager showed up to our first call five minutes late with no apology or explanation for being late. Didn't seem well prepared for the call. My biggest gripe with the process was the recruiter, they were so unreliable. They never called when they said they would and never hit any of the timelines that they committed to. Huge turn off.

Question 1
Nothing crazy that you haven't heard in any interview process. What's the biggest deal you closed? What's a difficult deal that you closed? All pretty standard stuff.
